| The Mikey Network was established in 2002 by Heathwood Homes and The Heron Group of Companies in memory of a dear friend and partner, Mike Salem, who’s heart skipped a beat. Our goal is to give people a second chance at life right when it is needed most. Everyone knows someone like our Mike. That very special person in your life…your father or mother…your husband or wife…a close friend or relative. One minute they can be doing what they love most and then suddenly their heart can skip a beat. In the moment when sudden cardiac arrest strikes, having a Mikey defibrillator close by can mean the difference between life and death. |
